On this 25th anniversary of 9/11, Wicomico County Public Schools joins our country in remembering and honoring the importance of this date. It's an important day for all to reflect on the lives lost and service given. on Sept. 11, 2001. Our nation also marks Sept. 11th as Patriot Day, and the National Day of Service and Remembrance.

We are so grateful for the overwhelming response to Mrs. Hutchison's Grandparents Event! Because of the tremendous interest, we will be rescheduling and restructuring the event to ensure everyone has an opportunity to participate.
While the original event was designed to share grandparent volunteer opportunities, we learned that many grandparents are also excited about spending special time with their students at school. To better meet both goals:
🍎 Mrs. Hutchison will be sharing a Grandparent Volunteer Sign-Up Form for school events.
🍂 We will host a Fall Grandparents Event for 1st and 2nd Grade families.
❄️ We will host a Winter Grandparents Event for Pre-K and Kindergarten families.
Please be on the lookout for more information about our fall event and upcoming volunteer opportunities. We look forward to welcoming our grandparents into our school community in meaningful and memorable ways! 💙👵👴⛵️

For this Board meeting, the Board will convene at 6:30 p.m. and immediately vote to go into closed session. The open portion of the meeting will begin at about 7 p.m. The agenda for this meeting is available at https://wicomico-schools.community.highbond.com/Portal/
